- Built from lived experience
- Practical steps you can use today
- Created for men who are ready to change
You do not need to have everything figured out.
You only need to be willing to begin.
Does this sound familiar?
You know something needs to change.
- You feel behind compared to the man you thought you would become
- You keep repeating patterns you promised yourself you would stop
- You have survived addiction, trauma, loss, or dysfunction but still feel stuck
- You struggle to trust yourself or keep commitments
- You want healthier relationships but do not know how to create them
- You know you are capable of more but cannot find a clear starting point
You are not permanently broken.
But no one is coming to rebuild your life for you.
Recovery is not just about what you stop doing. It is about who you start becoming.
Removing the destructive behavior is only the beginning.
Real recovery means learning how to handle pain without running from it.
It means rebuilding discipline, emotional awareness, relationships, integrity, and a sense of purpose.
It means becoming a man you can trust.
The goal is not perfection.
The goal is continual becoming.

Why I created Man In Progress
I am not teaching this from a distance.
My life has included childhood abuse, dysfunction, addiction, self-destruction, broken relationships, recovery, and the long process of learning how to live differently.
I had to learn many of the lessons healthy men are supposed to receive much earlier in life.
How to take responsibility.
How to communicate.
How to stop running from pain.
How to build discipline.
How to become someone I could respect.
My professional work in addiction treatment taught me about recovery.
My own life taught me that recovery has to become more than sobriety.
I did not create Man In Progress because I have arrived.
I created it because I am still becoming too.

Rebuilding starts with five decisions
- 01
Tell the Truth
Stop minimizing what is not working.
- 02
Accept Responsibility
Your pain may not be your fault. Your healing is now your responsibility.
- 03
Choose Who You Are Becoming
Create an identity based on values instead of past survival.
- 04
Build Discipline
Keep small promises until you can trust yourself again.
- 05
Continue the Work
Growth is not an event. It becomes a way of life.
The Rebuilding Framework will help you put these decisions into action.
Life is always teaching.
Pain is instruction.
Growth is a choice.
Responsibility is accepting the lesson.
Discipline is honoring the lesson.
Becoming never ends.
The work is never finished.
And neither am I.
Before you begin

Your next chapter does not begin someday.
It begins with the next honest decision.
You do not need another speech.
You do not need to pretend you have everything under control.
You need a clear place to begin.
Your past explains part of your story.
Your next decision determines where it goes.
